The Dark Sea
Hisoka is the only male heir born to a long forgotten High Elf King, however, he was a bastard child. His father, knowing that his jealous wife would eat the child alive, cast Hisoka from his kingdom into the Forest of the Wood Elves before his first Name Day. His new family were a joyful people. They taught Hisoka music, dancing, and painting. On his 80th Name Day Hisoka left the forest to wander the world and make his name as an entertainer. After the Great Kruger war that devastated the realm – in which Hisoka had lost his wife, career, and home – he found himself wandering the streets with only his bardic tales to earn him a few copper and silver pieces each day. Cold and starving, it was not long before Hisoka adapted his skills to obtain not just what he needed to survive but the things that he wanted for comfort and luxury. After scheming his way through half of the ports in Lhazzar he finally made it to Regalport. Hisoka then attempted to rob the wrong group of men and was about to be beaten to death. At that moment he was saved by Prince Lorrister, whom he immediately tried to pickpocket. The Prince had already noticed Hisoka’s good nature and talent, and he laughed off the bard’s insult. He then invited Hisoka to join his Heavenly Fleet. Hisoka now considers himself the Right Hand of Lorrister.
